The 90s,
the first steps
SPITEK Srl was founded in the 90s as a design and engineering company, with a particular specialization in on-board electromechanical equipment for railway and subway vehicles, exploiting the in-depth knowledge of the rolling stock built and in use from 1960 onwards.
The 2000s,
the evolution
To respond to the punctual requests and needs of transport companies, Spitek has gradually expanded its scope, acquiring technologies and skills, forging partnerships with the main companies in the sector and becoming a company capable of effectively supplying and overhauling a range that is always broadest range of components for the public transport sector.

By scrupulously following the evolution of sector regulations, Spitek has developed the skills, processes, organization and tools to guarantee compliance with the most stringent requirements in terms of reliability and safety of its products and services. A competence management system for the overhaul of safety components and a maintenance system have been introduced and certified.
